It requires an all around tooth prepration and it is placed over the existing tooth structure to help protect it and restore its function and appearance.
Crowns are prepared at dental clinics and at Smile and Shine we take a copy of tooth preparation by use of IntraOral 3D scanners.
When are dental crowns needed?
There are few indications to dental cowns:
1- Badly decayed and weakens tooth
2- Previously root canal treated tooth

A dental bridge is a custom-made appliance designed to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring artificial teeth to adjacent natural teeth or implants.
It is one the few replacement options for a missing or previously removed tooth.
For dental bridge All around prepration of the 2 adjacent teeth is required.
